HBO’s Boardwalk Empire has a sports connection

I couldn’t be more excited for HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” to make its debut tonight. What’s not to love about that cast and the subject matter? Prohibition, Martin Scorsese, Steve Buscemi, Michael K. Williams and more. I was in from the drop. But thanks to The Pick Exchange, I learned there was a sports connection in the show with one character.

One of the characters, Arnold Rothstein, is also the man alleged to have put up $100K to make the fixing of the 1919 World Series happen. Check out an interview below with Michael Stuhlbarg, who plays Rothstein and drop a few thoughts in the comments about the show after you watch it tonight.
